With the luxury packaging project La Pétanque, PLASTIGRAF TREVIGIANA and Eurobrillance win the RED DOT AWARD 2025 in the Packaging Design category.
The Red Dot Design Award, one of the most prestigious international recognitions in the field of design, has been assigned to the packaging for French pétanque balls La Petanque – It’s not child’s play, created by the design studio Granzotto Mazzer.
The project was developed by combining two of our signature technologies: Zeroplast®, which applies a plastic-free metallisation onto paper and board, and Natureal, which sculpts three-dimensional imagery on the surface while keeping it perfectly smooth to the touch..
The international jury praised the project for its “creative excellence and technical quality, successfully combining material sustainability with an exclusive aesthetic”.
It is an important achievement that reinforces our vision: innovating luxury packaging without compromise.
The La Pétanque project
La Pétanque is the Provençal version of boules: only seemingly a children’s game, it actually demands precision, technique and practice.
